I Hate New Years Resolutioners
The population growth is astounding and i get it, its great for business. If you waited an extra few weeks to go to the gym because it's your new years resolution, you're going to give up.
So many new years resolutionists taking up machines, and benches, and space in general.
I hate new years resolutioners. Some of these resolutioners are successful and form new habits. New years resolutions and lame excuses: My resolution is to never celebrate nye again.
Not only do i know i will not keep them, but i also know that anything important enough to give up on december 31st should probably be given up on any other day. In the seven years that i've been regularly going to my gym, i've become well versed regarding the phenomenon of new years resolutioners (we can shorten that to nyr) barging into my gym and taking up space. If you were too lazy to start earlier, you're going to be too lazy to keep with it.

They just have the initial soreness of their muscles and the strain on their lungs when doing cardio, don't realize that it's temporary (because they've never done it before), and then you never see them again. New years resolutioners spawned an entire genre of gym meme. I don't make resolutions for the new year.
But something about the new year and new beginningsit helped me. I wrote this post 2 years ago about new year resolutioners and after reading all the moaning about resolutioners on facebook, it looks like its time for a refresher post. Admittedly, it is annoying when the gym is packed, at any point during the year, now just new years.
A fitness center in the morning remains reasonably unchanged from the new years resolution rush and so this is a great time to get up and. Shhiiiitt, most new years resolutioners don't even make it past 2 weeks. They keep gyms open and affordable.
It's new people joining en masse at one time. Nobody has any gym etiquette. It helped me decide to not be afraid anymore.
